Living Streets works directly with local authority decision makers and practitioners across the UK - people that play a crucial role in the design and management of our streets.

Keeping our contacts informed

We keep decision makers and practitioners up to date with the latest news and best practice through our bulletins and briefings. This includes practical publications and training guides and our monthly ebulletin, Street Scan.

Training and Consultancy

We organise conferences and training events across the UK on the subject of Walking and the Public Realm, such as Walkability Audits, Walking and Health, Money for Walking and the Annual Walk to School Conference, and offer bespoke training.

We provide a range of Consultancy Services to support Local Authorities, ranging from audits and project management to strategies and events.

We also offer our local authority members a free presentation at their offices, so as many people as possible can hear about the Living Streets agenda and how it affects their work.

Seminars and events

Living Streets brings together people from across all sectors to discuss the issues, exchange ideas and network.

Policy into action

Knowing what communities really think about their streets means local authorities can serve them better. Living Streets' Community Street Audits engage the local community to improve their streets.
