Training and Open Workshops

Living Streets delivers regional masterclasses and workshops across the UK to provide practical opportunities for learning in smaller groups. Our most recent masterclasses were held during May and June in Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Newcastle.

Bespoke Training
Living Streets are experienced in providing bespoke training in walking and public realm issues to clients. This offers a cost effective solution where groups of staff or members from an organisation or area are involved. These practical training events are an excellent opportunity for staff development and encourage networking and joint working to improve service delivery.

We have recently delivered Walkability Training Day for Southampton City Council and have organised a series of School Travel Audit Workshops for Transport for London.

Bespoke training can also be combined with Audits as happened in Wansbeck, Northumberland, where a Community Street Audit was organised in Bedlington with local people and stakeholders, followed by staff training. Wansbeck District Council has since rolled out a Street Pride initiative as a result of the Living Streets Training.

For details of what Living Streets delegates thought about their conference or training, read their testimonials.
