Policy Briefing 10: Dog FoulingDog fouling in public space is sometimes seen as a relatively unimportant matter - irritating, but a side issue compared to the bigger public space issues such as traffic speed. But it can make walking an unpleasant experience - digging dog mess out of shoes or unknowingly treading it over a carpet is something everyone has experienced - and it is no fun! Dog fouling tarnishes and degrades the street environment, and this can play a significant part in peoples decisions on whether or not to walk. Most importantly, dog mess can be a significant health danger - particularly to small children. Please download the attached pdf file for the full policy briefing.
